Cookies Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things — what's in your basket, which currency you're viewing, whether you've seen a message before — and they let site owners understand how their site is being used.
This page explains which cookies we set, what each one is for, and how you control them. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always on — without them you could not add a product to your basket or check out.
Everything else is optional and we only set it if you agree. When you first visit, you'll be asked whether to allow analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your mind at any time, and declining them does not affect your ability to browse or buy.
What we use, and why
Strictly necessary
These make the site function. They cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| localization | Shopify | Remembers your country and language |
| cart_currency | Shopify | Remembers which currency you're viewing prices in |
| Basket and session cookies | Shopify | Remembers what's in your basket between pages and keeps your session secure through checkout. Shopify sets these automatically and documents them in full on its own site. |
Analytics
These tell us how the site is being used — which pages people visit, where they arrive from, where they give up. We use this to improve the site. They are optional.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another |
| _ga_01QSVBC4DD | Google Analytics | Records how this site specifically is used |
| Shopify analytics | Shopify | Reports on visits, orders and which pages lead to sales |
Marketing and advertising
These let us measure whether our advertising works. They are optional.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Records whether you reached us through one of our adverts, so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for |
| __kla_id | Klaviyo | Links your browsing to your email subscription, so our emails are relevant rather than generic |
Site features and security
| Cookie | Set by | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| trustedsite_visit | TrustedSite | Supports the site security and trust badge |
| __mmapiwsid | NoFraud | Screens orders for fraud and helps protect your payment details |
Cookies set by other companies
Some of the cookies above are set by companies we use to run the site — Google, Klaviyo, TrustedSite and NoFraud. We do not control how those companies process the data they collect. Their own privacy notices explain what they do with it, and you can find them on their websites.
If you pay through PayPal or another payment provider, that provider may set its own cookies when you reach their page. Those are governed by their policies, not ours.
How to control cookies yourself
Beyond the choice we ask you for, you can manage cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them. Look under Settings, then Privacy or Site data.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the browser add-on Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working, including the basket and checkout.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the cookies we use change. The date below tells you when it was last reviewed.
